Kingsley Ubani, 26, from Eziama Nsulu in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia, on Thursday, admitted to selling his 3-year-old son in November 2012.
His son was sold at the rate of N260, 000 to a woman who is now at large to raise money to bury his father.

“I told my wife that I don’t have money to bury my father who was in the
mortuary at that time and she approved of the transaction,” Mr. Ubani
said.
Following a tip-off, he was arrested, the Commissioner of Police in Abia, Usman Tilli, confirmed.
He said after investigations the child was found and handed over to the grandfather for care and protection.
